this japanese really knows how to satisfy the low budget skyline fans.. like me..
no money to have the real one.. why not have the "driveable and drift-able" version...

I have a first gen Team Associates RC10

I did at one time have a HPI RS4 mini nitro but it went through belts and didn't handle very well cause of the power it had. But, I do want to get a HPI RS4 rally nitro one of these days...

Has anyone considered a 3D scanning setup and some vacuum forming equipment for making nostalgic lexan bodies?

It's great that they did four or five popular drift bodies, and some Skylines and Fairladies, but there has to be demand for some of the others, like Celica, Corona, Corolla, Cosmo, Colt, Starion, Sunny, pickups and wagons, and a list a long as your arm. Use the Nostalgic Hero Top 50 list, or survey down the posts on this website.

Scans could be from full sized cars or from scale models. A little alteration to the proportions to accommodate the mechanicals and mounts of the car, and crank out a 3D model to vacuum form over.

IMO, I like the wheels on it. Very cool. Been toying back and forth about buying one of those ABC hobby kits for ages now, just haven't bit the bullet yet.

I just wish ABC made bodies that would fit other chassis. I have a Tamiya TT-01 chassis and the only JNC I seem to be able to find for it is the HPI AE86.

The important part about suggesting something is not to suggest what you, yourself, are looking for, but suggest what others would be looking for with the implied inclusion of what you are looking for.
I'd like to see bodies of Bellett (GT, GT Fastback, 4 Door Sedan, and 2 Door Sedan), 117 Coupe, Piazza (front and rear drive style), five different Gemini body styles, MX1600, and R6.
I'm going to give up on trying to paint a AE86 body to look like a Piazza or a Lexus body to look like a Gemini.

But if I had one of the scanners, I probably would never get around to doing RC car bodies. It's just too handy for full scale auto part design:

tt01 will fit all 190mm and 200mm bodies in da the market..
including..ABC hobbies.. LOL

The rep from ABC at JCCS said only a handful would fit. The only JNCs being the C10 and C110 Skyline.

No worries, I'd be hip to a C10 Skyline. Just kinda wanted a B110 Sunny body too...

Ok the list says subaru's but the only ones I saw are a Lego B4 sedan and a Lego Wago in the selection on their site. So where in the heck did you find the list of bodies they have?
