bro..i've found h/t tail lights before 2 sets at Batu Pahat...not sure which area..kedai potong belakang Tokong China..if you got friend around there maybe you can ask to look it for you..hth

Thanks, man. I just found it yesterday. The shop was very deep in Batu Pahat at Sri Gading area. I managed to drop by after a trip to Singapore for work. The are was quite interesting as I saw a Morris Minor pick up truck, Triumph Spitfire, some sort of big-ass Holden, and a Mini Countryman as I was driving along the Batu Pahat main road.
The shop attendant said the parts have been there since he started there 30 years ago. He was even planning to throw them out soon. Unfortunately it was not complete. It is missing the badges and I only got a right hand light cluster. The left hand light assembly and badges still elude me.
Good thing is that I actually got 2 panels. One had only the Skyline script but without the other square badge. It did come with interesting stickers though.

Some pics for anyone who could give advice or offer to sell me some parts to complete it.

Glad you found it Daniel..don't worry about plastic chrome..you can restore it..send to Fatah or AFC35 here..he can help you on plastic chrome stuff..

I have plenty of the bigger chrome ring but they come with complete light assembly
Well they are oxidized too but with some heavy polishing they come out good again

I remember someone telling me that the rubber is reproduced in Thailand even for the ones that are being sold in Australia and Japan. Any leads on this? Thanks.

I know Peter Jackson's old rubber and Clarke rubber in Australia sell a wide range of weather strip seals and various rubbers.

Peter Jacksons is in St Mary's in Sydney last time I went (years ago). I believe Clarke Rubber is a similar setup. You'll need to send someone over here with a sample and Im sure they have something very close if not the exactly the same in stock. Their range is pretty big last time I went.

I think this means your matching wheels are PCD114.3 RS Watanabes R14 8" Offset -6 in front and R14 8.5" Offset -13 at the rear. The step up ones should be read in the same way I guess.

I hope you don't mind but would it be possible to also include pics the Hardtop (2-door coupe) body section of the parts manual. I am planning to strip my 240K Hardtop however I am concerned as I have not sourced any body rubber yet. I am hoping that the part numbers would be a help to source the parts.

I know it is troublesome to take photos page by page however it would be very helpful if you could. Is anyone else selling the parts manual? I would be more than willing to purchase it of possible.

How do you guys change the window/door rubber on the 240K anyway? I am sure there are shops out there selling them. I just can't find it on the net.

Thanks, Scud, but I am still looking for the parts manual. Before stripping the car to pieces, I got to make sure I have enough parts to put it back together again. Thats why I want to get the rubber parts sorted out first. I am sure it is probably hard like rock right now.

I bought the rear bumper. I hope it is not another 4 door version again like the lights. However, visually it does seem to match up to the pictures. Any comments?


Looks great from the front. Few small rust bubbles.






The rear is heavily rusted and pitted however it should be fine after some chemical treatment with phosphoric acid and zinc rich paint

I just got word from a friend of a friend that he has three s20 engines and transmissions. One, he claims is built by Tomei. Depending on the price and whether it is true in the first place, I will be checking it out maybe end of this month. Got to travel quite far to check this lead out.

I think it is in good condition - chrome is all on place, reverse side rust you can kill with orthophosphoric acid and anticorrozive coating (primer etc.) So, my congratulations!

I already got the car roadworthy mechanically but it still looks like @$$. At last I got some reference for restoring the car. The service manual seems to be a new reprint. Kind of pricey, but what the heck.

At last, I can experience bowel movement.............

Oh, yeah. Also needed some animated inspiration. Although it is not a GC110, it is still packing an L28 under the hood. If a loser Japanese teen can waste his life obsessing over a car, so can I!!!
