Nice restoration on a rare car. I see you are using the stock radio in the dash but have premium speakers. There is a product in the US called Redi Rad that allows you to keep your radio stock but can play iPod or MP3 player without cutting up a dash or using non stock radio.

Thanks :D

I made a connection to this radio to MP3 ...

Well, I say what I did .....

I bought one of those jack .... which brings RCA connection ...... and cut the RCA ....

Image

Once connected the wires to the radio, the volume knob .... are marked in red ....

I turned on the radio and Mp3 ... but I put the radio loud (I put it without hearing anything), put the Mp3 and ready to play and the sound of the spine and control the sound in MP3, can also control the radio but then the sound does not come out so perfect .... 5 *....

Then I put the wire out through a hole that there is ...

I've done this on 2 radios and were very good!

The right side is already complete, missing only the rear:

Now deal with missing rear, as that there was tá a bit rotten, we took the back of another that was in better shape ....

We take another bag, because the other spent a lot of work .... ... and time to fix it

The rear panel is already to take the proper treatment to go into place:

I just finished reading through this entire build thread. Simply amazing. I'm hoping to source this many parts for my build. I need to polish and paint my parts as well. This is definitely inspiration and motivation for me.

Hello friends,

I have given no news, because I had a lot of work, the restoration did not stop ... just slowed down a bit, but this phase is already happening and we'll have news soon ...
