 Post subject: Need rod bolt torque spec for 8RC (1970) - corona mkII

Trying to put my motor back together and cannot find the torque spec for the connecting rods on my 8rc and of course it is now to late to get a manual tonight and I really need to get this sucker in tonight!!!

Thank you for responding! I couldnt wait any longer so I found the torque spec for the 20r which is 45 ft lbs so thats what I used.

I got it back into my car and running but something still isn't right. My motor is noisy as hell. It could be the tranny too but IDK. I think i might have to just replace them both. This is getting rediculous. I wish I could find the problem and just fix it. I am going to check the cam bearings and the valve adjustments next.

Any ideas?
