I am really digging this build. Plus I am local (in Tualatin) so maybe I will see this at some shows! Kinda like the cragars as well. Are you going to keep them on or go with something different? Saw you got some NOS dragon emblems- does Toyota have alot of NOS for our celicas? Did you go to Gresham Toyota or do you have someone who knows where to get these old parts?

Certainly keeping the Cragars you can’t get them anywhere!! Saying that I can’t get the T/A’s either!! So that part sucks I’ll have to deal with that as it comes. The dragons I got off of eBay keep an eye out if you want them they start at $60 to $80 so keep watch and their new. Still not cheap.

Very cool resto +1. Planning on a new color or sticking with stock? You've had this car since highschool?

If they are 13" Cragars, the B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's are still available.

If you have any shops local to you that deal with "Legends" racers, they usually keep raised white letter BFG Radial T/A's and Comp T/A's in stock in the 205/60-13 size. :tu:

I just got a set of BFG Comp T/A's from 600 Racing.

FWIW, the Comp T/A is way better than the Radial T/A.

Also, the BFG website lists the Radial T/A in a 205/60-13 as still available new. :tu:

In talking to him, he told me there was a lot more rust than
he expected. also the front end alignment ,body wise, was
harder then once thought. But this dude is a perfectionist so
I'm sure he was being a bit hard on the car than it really
was...im I bitchin??? :? nah its all good!!! :tu:

She’s coming home this Friday so I decided to start polishing the wheel trim. The pictures never really show how it really looks.
Just for the record it’s a big differents. :eek2:

I got this new T/A radial off of eBay for $75 bucks…REALLY?? :woot: Yep that’s cheaper than I got them when they made them.
Now I have to find ONE more to finish the rear. They (Goodrich) still sell the 60 series that will do the front. :2thumbs:

How have i not seen this around yet!? I've got a beat up yellow 73 with a green hood running around s.e. portland you ever come out this way or just stay in Gresham? Got or need any spare parts?

Yah like always...one I've been looking for is the body part that the spare tire fits in to, not rusted.

Sorry not replying to messages but my wife is telling me I'm spending to much time in the garage and the computer so its time to take it a bit easy :bawling: ...but its cool. I’m doing the door guides and rollers now and cleaned out the inside of the door, what a mess. :nonono:
