I really wish this was true for J-tin in the US.

Has Mazda always been so populair in Australia? I remember seeing some salesrecords a few months ago and noticed that the Mazda3 is one of the best selling cars there?

Anybody? How many brands are for sale in Australia btw? Is there a website like http://www.edmunds.com/new-cars/?tid=ed ... y.new..1.* but then for Australia?

I went for a ride in this when i was 15, a couple of weeks before the fire...

A 13b j port, unfinished, with no screens...i was in the back with no seat belt going over 150 kph in residential streets in revesby....hellis in dead end streets, it was very scary and stupid...

Later on, it kept stalling, he was in some back streets (not residential, even though the newspaper says it was) trying to clutch start it, when it caught fire. The ignition was left on, the webber was full of fuel and overflowed...when it fired after a clutch start, something sparked, he reackons the starter was close to the firewall, and caused enough spark to ignite the fuel that had spewed out of the carby all over the motor..

He could do nothing but sit there and watch his R100 burn.....this was in 1990 or 91

Thank you for sharing those amazing pics. Many of those cars were famous over here in the US and Canada, especially the PAC Performance cars as they were so many video shoots of them.

I bought the first set of FF&R videos on VHS just to watch Anthony battling in out with Mazworx and his competition back in the day...love the big Microtech stickers too.

Borbet and Simmons - yes!
