I only recently stumbled across this website and am glad I did. My car isnt quite an "antique" by the official standards, but will be in a few years.

My car (88 Acura Integra LS-SE) is torn down right now, while I am getting it ready for paint. Here are some pics taken shortly before sanding began. I have been stockpiling various parts to put on the car once it is ready for the "unveiling".

You can see the clearcoat coming off on the hood...thus the need for repaint (plus I wanted to remove some door dings).

Here are the rims that will be going on it once I get it painted (with different tires than pictured).

Thanks Pedrolitto, I am a car nut, so I generally end up changing cars every few years. I've had the Integra for about 8 years now....never had a car that long....and I don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon either!

This one is of even greater value to me (and others in the know) because it is a Special Edition. They only made 5000 Special Editions in 88 (2500 white and 2500 black...but for some reason, the black ones are harder to find).

For more info and pictures, go to www.g1teg.org. I am an admin and part-owner of this site. Unfortunately it is a little discombobulated right now after a PHPBB upgrade that failed. Still working out the bugs....and really hoping that we didnt lose the past 6 years worth of data!

You can get into Hondaswap, look for the peeps that reprogram the ecu's for "CHROME" and have a little more performance.

Welcome, and I am in Ft. Worth too. I seem to be collecting Honda's now. I have a 1979 Civic CVCC Hatchback, '83 Accord Hatchback, and an '83 Civic Sedan I am stripping for a parts car.

I think we have a meet around here every month. I think it's at the Purple Cow restaurant, but I am unsure of times as I have not yet been.

Ernie is a long-time member of my website (www.g1teg.org)....and yes, definately one of the nicest G1 tegs around. He bought it new and has kept it in very good shape.
