This is a 1978 323 SS 5 door. A rare model with the "bugeye" front end, sporting the 1.4L engine. This is the five door deluxe with an auto. It also has the sports dash with the 5 gauges including the tacho. Front and rear intermittent wipers and full cloth trim. I've never seen spec this before here in Oz. Also called the GLC in many markets including the US.

The mighty 1500 deluxe sedan. This is a mark 1, 1968 model. This is a deluxe version which added carpet on the floors, and a clock and AM radio. It still is a column shift version and has the four wheel drum brakes. Stops reasonably well actually and is a pleasure to drive! Also known as the Luce in JDM speak.

Another one of the Commercials. This is a 1977 B1600. This is the very last of the B1600 model here before being replaced by the B1800. I'm currently in the middle of some minor rust repairs on the rocket. This really was saved from the scrap yard as that's where I saw it! Got there two hours before crushing time. Also know as the Proceed in Japan.

What a stroke of luck, or heroic derring-do, to get there with only 2 hrs to spare!

Yeah Ben, got a phone call, lets just say a few speed records were broken in the saving of this B1600! The commercial range cop a hard life here so finding any B1600 that isn't totally destroyed is a miracle.

Here's one for the Mitsubishi boys! This is my 1968 1100F Colt fastback, the first day it got home. I'm currently building the right engine for it as it has the KE44 1 litre engine fitted instead of the KE45 1.1L engine, besides that, all else is original. Oh and putting in headlights!

Thanks for the pics, that Colt is gorgeous. Very high on the 'if I won the lottery' list.

I would love to do the same with old Datsun/Nissans, but 7 cars is all I have space for at the moment. :(

Mr C, it sounds like time to kill the neighbours, flatten their house and build another shed!

One of the main reasons I bought acreage, I knew this was going to get out of hand!

Tim, you do realise that you are now my guru, don't you?
I was amazed to realise that don't have my Mazda in there...

...until I read through again, and realised you do have it in there.

I see yours is in the another thread and it's very similar (and dirtier) to me

It's in the overhaul process at the moment and doesn't look much like a R100. But the give you an idea, it's late 69, just series two, still running it's original 10A engine.

Looks can be deceiving, shite camera probably to blame for the 1500 shot. Bought that off the original owner, 2 years after he first put it up for sale, and everyone whines there's no old Mazda's!! That's one more of a quick tidy up. Got an 1800 sedan in the midst of some love, should turn out nice.

Wahey! My old sled, bought it from a guy out at Wynnum many moons ago, he had a 13BT 1000 ute. I can't believe I didn't even keep the hubcaps. So many good memories in that car, I shed a tear seeing him disappear on the trailer. Drove her into the ground too, poor old Orangey, never missed a beat. The damage came after a big night, driving to work the next morning, in the middle of the city looking at god knows what, bang, back of a cab. Still marched on though little soldier. Glad to hear he's got a new nose.

With his brothers Reddy and Greeny back in 02.
