Well hell it's been about forever since I've been on this forum. A few updates:

Took off the Enkeis and sold them, as they were warped pretty bad and I couldn't afford to repair them.

Drove the car from Washington to Florida (my new home) back in April

Tuned the car (via leaning out AFM) and dyno'd 165whp and 188ft/lbs.

New pics:

Thanks for keeping us updated on your awesome machine. Your new surroundings and photos look so much better with the palm trees in the background. :)

Love the photos in front of the diner, with the neon reflected in the black paint.

I see your still alive. Since you left and we got the reputation for scorpmatt always being on our board it's been pretty vacant of celica-supra peoples.

yeah I miss Washington. I'm lonely here. Not a lot of Supra people, no other mk2s. I know a couple of mk2 MR2 guys and that's about it, the Toyota scene in SWFL = bleh.

Why does this photo remind me so much of Knight Rider... :P

I dunno, was not my intention ;)

Besides, she's so much lighter and more nimble than Knight Rider anyways

Holy long-awaited update Batman!

Been a few years. Car is a LOT rougher now. Florida has been very cruel to her. Roof has become very faded, quarter panel and rocker on driver's side are rusting through. Hatch is rusting to the point the spoiler is loose. I hate seeing the car deteriorate before my eyes but sadly I have become unemployed and cannot afford a proper restoration.

HOWEVER, some good news;
a couple of years ago I found some 15x7 Enkei mesh knock-offs for super cheap ($150) with PERFECT lips, no rash whatsoever. Bought them from an original Supra owner who had the wheels for 20+ years.

And just this morning, my Advan carbon fiber hood arrived!
Please excuse the terrible angle and mobile phone pic;

I am super excite and will take better pictures soon! :)

Very sorry to hear about the deterioration of the supra. I had to let mine go a while back as I just didn't have the time. Worry about finding another job and then gather parts. Rust can be fixed, just look at some of the resto threads from European guys. Wheels still look awesome!

Very nice car and great work with the engine build. I wish you good luck finding a new job though. I know that isn't easy.

and some pics of my cf hood's fitment issue (driver's hinge is somehow higher than the passenger's, creating a nice huge gap on driver's side)

I had a similar issue at one point, my hinge was actually bent. Not sure if that might be your problem?

Not sure either, since the stock hood sat fine on the car. So weird. I do know that area on that side of the cowl had to be worked on. It was drilled through for the clutch pedal bracket (was originally auto)

What bent mine was actually when I removed the hood off my X73. The guy I had holding the hood while I unbolted it let it slip a bit and it put a subtle twist in the hinge.
