Awesome project. The car looks great, but I have to say that those square pattern wheels are so hideous they're awesome. 8) Keep us posted!

Thanks guys. Admittedly i have done no where NEAR as much to the car as i wouldve liked. I pulled the diff and front suspension out of it and thats where its stayed for the past 6mths or so, waiting for me to re-assemble things.

Ben, the Piazza "tetris" wheels are looooonnggg gone. I agree, absolutely hideous lol. With the front brake setup ive gone for, 300mm discs [12"?] and 5stud means they dont come anywhere near fitting - the disc barely fits inside a standard 14" wheel!

Also being a Commodore pattern it means NO JDM wheels are availible for it. I thought about getting SSR's in 17 x 7 and 17 x 8 but i almost fell over when i got quoted $4800AUD JUST FOR THE WHEELS.

Should have one this weekend as luck would have it. Lower control arms are on, need to assemble the uppers and the stub axle and then i should have pics of it on the ground with the wheels and commo brakes on.

I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad.

Ah, 5x120 I believe. And yeah, it's tough to find anything Japanese in that pattern. IIRC, General Motors and BMW are the only companies that use it...
