Well, here's a little news ... I got the support for the gauges!

It's a datsun, just had to make adjustments ... I think it is better than one done ... and so has the texture equal to the dashboard ...

The gauges that I bought new and had 2 already here at home .... it was a clock and a vacuum of ...

Here is a picture of the process ...

The make some adjustments to fit Gauge ...

The front I made to withstand the pressure gauges ...

Support ready to be assembled ...

Already in his place ...

Now the clock and vacuum do not know if I put the console ... The console will be one that already has a place to gauge ...

What a great build, keep up with the updates. If I havent already said it, it's one of my favourite posts.

What work were you doing to the floor pan and front windscreen pillar ?

Also out of curiosity are you using and Oxygen/ Acetylene gas welder or MIG welder ?

Nice restoration on a rare car. I see you are using the stock radio in the dash but have premium speakers. There is a product in the US called Redi Rad that allows you to keep your radio stock but can play iPod or MP3 player without cutting up a dash or using non stock radio.

Thanks :D

I made a connection to this radio to MP3 ...

Well, I say what I did .....

I bought one of those jack .... which brings RCA connection ...... and cut the RCA ....

Image

Once connected the wires to the radio, the volume knob .... are marked in red ....

Image

I turned on the radio and Mp3 ... but I put the radio loud (I put it without hearing anything), put the Mp3 and ready to play and the sound of the spine and control the sound in MP3, can also control the radio but then the sound does not come out so perfect .... 5 *....

Then I put the wire out through a hole that there is ...
Image

I've done this on 2 radios and were very good!

Here goes .... fresh news past 3 months without going to see the treatment the plate, here's the news:

The right side is already complete, missing only the rear:

Now deal with missing rear, as that there was tá a bit rotten, we took the back of another that was in better shape ....

Image

Image

We take another bag, because the other spent a lot of work .... ... and time to fix it

Image

The rear panel is already to take the proper treatment to go into place:
