The Lexus ES250 is based on the Vista. The Vista has a different roofline, frameless doors and a different look front and rear.

Here´s the Vista:

Camry-ads from Japan only seem to feature the first generation or the third generation...

In typical Japanese fashion it looks like there were a million grille variations

Today the Camry passed it´s annual road-safety-inspection, it needed a new light-switch but otherwise everything was fine. Now it´s time for it to sleep until April 2010. Winter´s already here in Austria, the roads are covered with salt already.

That´s the reason why I was allowed to take part in the Classic-Toyota-meeting at the Toyota-Museum in Germany too.

Maybe try to copy and paste this into a search engine; トヨタ カムリ (toyota camry) and either add v20 (chassis code) or 3代目 (3rd gen) at the end. Should come up with mostly Japanese sites with JDM cars.

i had this for 3 months now. Oddly enough its lhd.

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16080&p=143611&hilit=1986+camry+sv11#p143611

it was never officially imported locally, so its quite rare, if not outright the only example down here. however like many of you said above, its widely regarded as 'just another old car'. but not for me
