I purchased this car October 2nd, 2009 from the 2nd owner with 105,000 kms. The previous owner bought it in 2007 and drove it for only 5,000 kms until it was stored. This car was first owned by Bill Gardiner of Motoring TV on TSN. Recently, the car was mentioned on an episode of motoring TV in early Jan 2010.
Here's a lil video clip from a Motoring TV episode:

Well I finished my engine bay detail.. took about 4 days total.

I used WD-40 and a paintbrush and 4 microfiber towels.
Works amazing on 20 year old buildup of dirt and rustproofing. No joke. ;)
Car had been sitting for 10+ years.. Buildup of rustproofing and dust on it takes its toll.

The car is now sitting on some old skool 15x7 CSA Polaris rims with 195/50 Nokian WR32 all weather tires.
Upcoming will be some coilovers as the 20 year old shocks need replacing !!
Current kilometers the car has is 115,000 kms as of December 25 2010.
New pics coming in spring. :)

Here's some rare accessories & Parts I managed to find for it recently:

Barely used OEM car cover

BNIB OEM civic hatch brown mats:

BNIB optional civic console pocket.

Awesome score. Kudos for keeping it "relatively" stock. :)

I'm glad the car is in good hands. :tu:

More pics soon, please. :)

I'm glad to see one of these that isn't thrashed. I don't know about over there but around me they all have crazy body kits and bad paint jobs.

I like it :tu:

What a sweet find, beautiful condition especially for the year, keep it up, hopefully you are not going to drive it in winter, going to be a havoc to the beautiful body. Is that a red crx i see in the garage?

wow, it's good to see one of these in such clean orginal condition... unlike the trash that things are often turned into... that thing needs some SSR super fins though! wait a minute, oh yeah i think that about any old honda :P

Just an update...I'm about 80% done cleaning/detailing the engine bay. Still some to do...
I still havent had it power washed/steam cleaned yet.. All I did was use rags , paintbrush and 2 cans of WD40,
scrubbed around the engine bay alot of parts taken off and cleaned..
Power washing/steaming will do the trick..
I'm gonna someone locally help with the powerwashing etc etc.

Anyways heres some pics of the progress...

before:

80% done after:

http://i35.tinypic.com/2rge6g1.jpg

The car was oil sprayed when bought brand new...
Its been sitting in a workshop, covered under a car cover.
Alot of dust went inside the engine bay and embedded onto the oilspray/rustproofing...
Engine bay has never been washed in 19 years..
Alot of the parts/bolts are still new, shiney because of it...
I did have to change the engine mount (got for free) and a couple 12mm nuts though. :)
