I'm fascinated by people who keep cars forever since I can't seem to keep one for more than 6 months... :P

A photographer gathered several people who bought their cars new and still had them 20-30 years later. He took photos of them how they look now and put them side-by-side with old snapshots for a nice comparison...

I found this very fascinating. What do you think? 8)

Wow.. thats pretty cool.. Im fairly certain I will never have to worry about getting a call from this guy tho.. I cant seem to hold on to a car for too long either..

Very cool idea. I'm impressed that half of those cars are still running, especially the Fiat Ritmo/Strada.

That's great! I like my current batch of cars, and I know I'll have my x7 until it get's forcibly taken away from me, lol. Kinda want to do something similar, but with a pic every year for as long as I have it in the same pose and at the same spot, might be fun :D.

Damn! I'm one of those Keep It Forever people, but I never had the bright idea to take a photo WITH the car. :roll:

The series is awesome, though. A real heartstring tugger.

i am going to take pics with my kids and cars soon. so hopefully i can re-create this in 20 years! i cant let go of anything so it shouldn't be a problem.
