"Battles and Brotherhood" and "Deadly Sinners"- 3 Inches of Blood

My new favorite metal band, lol. ASG is still a super close 2nd!! Classic metal feel with new metal elements, instead of the other way around!! Great!!!!

hmm, I breathe life into 2 threads this night.

Volbeat!
If you like... Elvis, Metallica, and Hasselhoff, listen. Good good metal band from Germany. The instrumentals are very similar to metallica, but the lead singer sounds just like '50s era Elvis Presley. More rockabilly then metal, but still a great listen for fans of either genre :D.

I love this song! I have fond memories of it playing in my father's Fleetwood Brougham. Rarely do car and song fit together so well.

Been listening to The Pogues on and off the past few days. I go through periods where I can't get enough of this folky stuff, then a longer period where I absolutely don't want to listen to it at all, lol. Same with Flogging Molly, but it's easier to mix them with the rest of my music since they seem to be more punk them folk. Punk mixes better with metal imo, lol.

I like The Pogues because they have a classic irish folk sound, but if you listen, the lyrics are still kinda vulgar, lol.

Right now: Deadmau5 - Secondary complications ^^ (that really was a coincidence)

Been listening to: MGMT, a tribe called quest, utada hikaru, wu tang clan and some random nostalgic (to me) stuff from the nineties. Including some really bad stuff like Toybox, Aqua, Mr. President and the like :P. I love it.
