 Post subject: here is my luv and gemini/isuzu opel. now running R1 carbs

i am new here and have been into the chevy luvs since hi school when i had my 74 luv i bought in 79... i have a small shop in salem oregon that does fiberglass work and i make reproduction after market parts for the luv... any way here is my 79 work truck and my newly acquired opel/gemini , i will be fixing this one up to be a nice street/scca weekend racer..

Looks like the cool custom minis from the 70s, but with a more appropriate stance. 8)

I've had a set of those wheels collecting dust in my garage for 9 years. Never have found anything to put them on...

also parts from Australia like full centerconsole all gemini badges... and i found a full set of console gauges (on there way) plus tons of other stuff from Germany or Australia... here are a few pics... have not worked on it much as i had a family emergency come up... and i moved to a bigger shop... will be starting again soon...

trial fitted some Australian tail lights and German bumpers ... to get the bumpers shipped i had them cut right behind the rubber overrider's otherwise they are to long to ship normal mail or ups

If you needs parts, let me know. I found a place close to where I live that specialized on Isuzu. They have ZZ-R, Bellett GTR, etc. I will give me excuse to talk to them. I pass to the place everytime...

been working on an R1 conversion....this will be tested in my luv then when my gemini gets done it will go on there...

well fixed the leaks , the float seat where dirty still... now just need to get some 175 main jets and test it out some more then make the air filter box or may go with individual filters just not sure yet...

it runs but i need the bigger jetx for it... i need some 1.75 and i only had a drill of 1.52 so ill jet to that next week i hope
