Well,I thought the colour was rather nice.The wheels and the dollar bill (!? )however were as out of place as Gene Simmons at a eunuchs convention.

Agreed. I like the color, the wheels/lift/dollar bill however... eh.

And there's been far worse posted on here before. Like that Jimmy Neutron 510 or BMWized E10 Corolla. And I'm sure there's others...

See, these are people who don't get it. You don't have to make your car look like someone else's car to make it desirable. They don't respect their own cars, probably for no other reason than it's Japanese. So they make it look like a Mustang, or a donkified Caddy, or a BMW, or a Ferrari or whatever they wish they had instead. They spend all that time, effort and money on their cars, and it's wasted, because the original, unmolested car was so much more desirable.
