I have a set of red 16x8's on my 240sx. They're pretty good for the price.

i can see that the wheels on the starlet have some serious offset...
but i like it..it gives the starlet a Bad Boy image kind of stance..
i had the similar stance on my 85 swift...
it also rubbed hard when turning hard...only the rear though..
how wide are the rims on the starlet??...7j??..n
some 175/60/R13 tyres would be nice...to go with R13x7j
i had the r13x8j et - 10 wheels with 185/60/R13 tyres setup on the '79 corolla..rear suspension is lowered about 10cm..gap left is about 4cm before occupied..rubbing only happens when i turn @ 60Km/H with the car occupied with 4 persons..2 front n 2 rear...
maybe a stiffer rear springs might help??...

yea they r 13x7j with toyo 215 50 r13 tyres and yea i have the same problem wen i turn hard i will b upgrading shocks az they r just the factory ones. and yes they do gine it a very staunch look az they sick out from the gaurds.

alot of people like they look of it, and it handles like a dream :D

yup same feeling i get with my swift with stick outs offsets..
more confident to take those sharp turns faster..

but my mechanics says that it'll shortens the age of the front tie rods n balljoints..as they would be stressed more bcoz of the stickin' out offsets..
is it true??..anyone??..

SportMax are now known as XXR. Not the best quality wheels IMHO.

XXRs/Sportmaxx are kind of frowned upon, here, in the states. But if you like them, that's all that matters, man. :tu:
