I was very surprised to be in the #1 demographic myself. I figured I was one of the oldest here, but not so... :P

It's surprising to see that 40+% did not have driver's licenses during the early and middle of the Civic/VTEC drag racing craze, that pulled import cars from the real obscurity of customized car shows to a more rounded acceptance for performance as well as appearance.

That's a really high percentage interested in cars that were really before their time.

You sort of expect people to be fans of whatever was new in the show room when they just got their driver's license, not what was new when they were 40, or before they were born.

Funny, I'm not a fan of new cars that came out when I got my license (1989). I always dug the cars that were popular in the high school parking lot (early 80s stuff) like the AE86 and 3rd-gen Camaro/Trans Am. :P

And yes, most of my favorite cars came out before I was born, or at least before I knew what a car even was...

this is a bit intresting, alot of people are older than I had thought. I always admired older japanese cars, but it wasn't til I bought my maxima that I really " got bit "

I'm 22, born feb. 87' , my car's build date is feb 82' lol :tu:
