Hello and welcome to JNC. What's the nostalgic scene like in Brunei? We did a post on it a while back:
http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/blog/20 ... oyota-guy/

Glad to see some old school enthusiasts there!

Hello! I like your Celica, but there are a few things that bug me:

- side body molds
- smoked taillights
- "angel eye" headlamps

It could be a beautiful car without these "accessories". :?

Even though I'm a purist and like my old Toyotas stock, stingray's Celica looks fine! We have to remember it's his car and he can do whatever he wants with it. Like I always say, variety is the spice of life! Heck, if all the Celicas looked the same, that would be kind of boring. BTW, can you tell us more about the side kits? Are they custom or did you buy them?

I'd rather see folks go their own way than follow lame trends. Stingrays car is pretty unique! It kind of reminds me of onother Celica I saw about ten years ago which had some pretty wild body mods...

While I too am not really feeling the Testarossa side treatment, it's greatly offset by those beautiful wheels. The wheels and stance really make that car. Color is great, too.

I'm just impressed/surprised that there is an oldschool import scene in Brunei. Welcome aboard. :tu: :tu: Please give us more specs when you get the chance.

Aside: Hands-down, this is the most international car forum that I've ever seen on the web. Quite a meeting place for owners of some fantastic machinery. 8)

While not my taste, it looks like quality work, and the wheels are incredible! I look forward to some of the pics of the other cars seen in the background of those pics.

I think gamby's discovered the key to world peace - old Japanese cars! Just in time for the holidays too. :)
