I just bought a 78 Arrow GS near Nashville and drove it up to Ohio last Tuesday. It was originally from Washington state and the guy I bought it from had his brother drive it to Detroit three years ago. He then took it down to Nashville when he retired. It has just over 55,000 original miles, and the paint and interior are all original. It is a 2.0 automatic, and ran quite well on the 450 mile trip up from Nashville.

This is my first Arrow since I owned a 1980 Fire Arrow as my first new car. I've been snooping around on this forum for awhile, but now that I have a classic Mitsu I am happy to be able to join. I will post pictures once I figure out how to do it.

Glad that you were finally able to find a nice one! :tu::D

Mine's faster. LOL - but I love the color of yours.

Welcome to the forums, '78 GS!

Holy moly, that's beautiful! Glad it went to a good home. Welcome to JNC, glad you could finally join. And to any other lurkers out there, ownership is not a prerequisite :)

My car's brother! Same year, model, color, and trim level! The only differences between our cars as they came out of the factory are the engine and the carpet.

The differences are a little greater now, but his car looks just like mine would've about 40,000 miles ago.

And Mike, take care of the guy, willya? Make sure he doesn't trade it in or anything like that.

I've known that '78 GS has been looking for one in good condition for a long, long time. I highly doubt that it's going anywhere other than his garage. 8)

Wow very nice, very clean!

Known as Celeste over here. Few were sold though, overshadowed by the Galant GTO I guess..
