 Post subject: Works Rallye Celica from 1979

Hello,
We restore a original works rallye Celica from 1979. The car was build from Toyota Germany and was the trainingscar from Achim Warmbold in 1980 by the rallye Monte Carlo in the Fisher HIFI colors. After the Monte, the car got the red / white Toyota paint. Last rallye for the car was the 1980 Himalaya rallye with the Team Höpfner /Denker Andersen. They was second over all behind Sheka Mehta with Ascona 400. We found the car this year near Cologne. Pictures from the restoration can you see here.

2T-G engine with some fine parts and ca. 160 HP and a short axle ratio. That was the original engine from the Group 2 Celica.

The plan for 2009 is to drive rallies with the car. We want to drive here:
