When I bought the SL last august there was a non origional 2K engine in there... Now it's engineless but a 3KH is lying beside it, waiting to be fitted in there... The 3KH will stay in the car until I found an origional 3KB engine to suit the SL.

Man, its amazing how those cars have survived in other countries........or have you just collected all the nice ones? Those really old Corollas are so much harder to find in decent shape here in Kentucky, and with the way the economy is the ones that are still around get scrapped and the junkyards dont keep old stuff on the lot very often just crush it immediately. :(

Well over here it is like searching for a needle in a haystack as well to find those cars... I bought my yellow 74 in 1995, the red 70 in 2005 and the red 71 SL was bought last year, 2008. It's the 1st and only SL I ever saw for real until now... So I could not let it go even though some SL specific parts are missing...

Thanks...
Well for now they are all just standing in storage... Waiting for some better times... (financialy seen)
I am trying to find another job, and until I do find one, I have to get round with like 70% of what I used to have in the past...
1st thing to do when more money comes in again is to get the SL registered on dutch licence, as it is a belgian car and not a dutch one. Then after that I want to swap a 4age, T50 gearbox, AE86 front struts and KE30 rear axle in the red one from 1970 and put the bodykit from this next pictere on it...
The 71 SL and the 74 deluxe will stay stock, so as they are...
