 Post subject: tranny swap question

what mods would be necesarry to transplant a 5-speed tranny (from a boxie) to a 4g32 (chain type) from a 73 dodge colt?

The transmission crossmember needs to be moved back some.
The two studs that bolt the mount to the transmission are spaced wider on the 5 speed. You can elongate the slots in the mount to work.

Occasionally the shifter opening will be a bit off but is easy to deal with.

Yeah that all the issues I had, also the drive shaft cover piece on it (where it slots into the gear box) cut off.
