You will need to find a factory serivce manual for the car. They are so rare I doubt anyone even has one. Maybe we can help troubleshoot it though.

What exactly is wrong with the car? What is it doing?

Luckily mitsubishi used basically the same fuel injection system wiring oin every one of their 80s turbo cars. Yours seems compareable to a 1983 starion which would be a type 1 fuel injection.

And for the future. Your mitsubishi is broke down, not wrecked. Wrecked would mena you crashed the car into something ;) I sure hope you didnt...?

Hello Ryukichi,

can you just give me more information about what you need, please?

Is it a wiring map with all the connections or do you know what special component did not work?

I just want to know, because the chapter about electronic is very huge in the service manual book, but the wiring maps will be some sites only.

I have them both for some productions years of the car, so it would be helpfull if you can look after the chassis identity number, the production year is included there.

Then I can go to our farmer garage and look after the electronic maps.

Kind regards from Germany

Tim

Thank you for correcting his expression. As he is from France, some translations problems might appear. Be sure, this will happen in my posts, too

I need a wiring diagram of the car.

What happened is that reconnecting the alternator, my mechanic has forgotten to disconnect the battery lug.

There was a big spark in the big son of the alternator, then from there as more power to the panel, I replaced all the fuses except the fuse
Engine that I have not found.

And since there is more power to the dashboard, I can not even start the engine :(

It is 1984
The motor is 4g63t

I think that is the fuse blown engine as I do not know at all or it is on this car!

Check the fuseable links near the battery. They are the green red and orange wires in the relay powerbox. There might be one main power fuseable link which is grey coming off the battery into a small box that has a nut inside it.

Hi Michael,

as I promised, I looked through the old service manuals and found some pages about the Galant Turbo from 1984.

I scanned the wiring maps from the front, I guess the problem will be in that area.

Keep in mind that a wire can be broken or the cables might have oxidated too much somewhere.

I'm sorry, all the pages are German, so if you have trouble, please try and ask.

So, here are the diagrams to download:

http://www.dauerhafte-autofreude.de/download/a160aturbo.rar

Good luck to solve your problem.

Kind regards, Tim
