i have known people that have a bicycle shop make them one... never did it my self but they say it worked great

Almost! Fingers crossed it'll be ready in a week or so.
Book (or web-based) sounds like a good idea, I think I could compile a few facts about the Netherlands. It's just a shame most of the early importers went bust or chickened out... good idea to fill a few hours!

Looks like a Luv cylinder, but it isn't... darn.
So the ones I bought (1 right, 1 left) won't fit - any Luv owner interested in cheap cylinders?

What I bought:

It's missing the almost trapezoid piece on the bottom... quite different. What I bought was for a 1972 Luv, but I'm guessing the brakes differ because of the 4/6 lug thing? I think I have found something in Australia now... fingers crossed.

Haven't done anything to the Florian yet (well, the interior light came on without me noticing and drained the battery)... but I went to a small meeting yesterday, 300+ km in mostly hard rain but she drove alright.

Lots of interest on the meeting and on the road, people craning necks to find out what it is... as you can see, at 100 km/h on the road it can't be easy to read the badges. :lol:
