small update. interior rear end is finished, left only passengers seat, plastic covers, dash board.

Now working with rear brakes. next week probably will have all braking wheels. this means - first test drive. sadly we have some snow here...

Fantastic build. 929s really are nice looking cars. The pillarless windows look great.

Is that an Rx4 front bumper?

As everyone has been saying, Australia should have lots of parts, try searching the ausrotary.com forums.

Actualy there is no difference between rx4 and 929 body. except badges on rear fenders, "Rotary Engine" badge on front grille. and thats all (exhoust is different, rear axle bigger) everything from bumpers to lights are the same. Even rear garnish panel on 929 has rotary shaped boot lid lock badge - the same as rx4 had.

Almost all parts that i bought is from australia. Ausrotary is good source for parts.

Now looking for door mirrors (need booth side mirrors) and original AM/FM radio. So if anyone know where to buy, please help.

Beautiful pics!
Look at your interior pic compared to my 1974 Datsun Skyline 240K GT
Image

There are astounding similarities in rear quarters/rear interior, who copied who? :)

thanks for a good word.
about copying... all cars are similar, but it doesn't show that someone was spying.

That burnout pic is sick! I'll be posting that one to my blog for sure, hahaha. The car looks like it has a slight forward rake to it, which is totally 100% awesome. :tu: 8)

I'm back :D
New stage. Rotary engine on the way. After long time of searching and buying parts. Looks like I have everything for conversion. Old engine already removed, this week will start to clean engine bay.

Engine will be 13b 6port NA with weber IDA 48.
Wish me success.
