Anyways I would strongly suggest you join the online community at www.toymods.net - this is probably the biggest online community of Toyota people in Australia, and probably the southern hemisphere.

You can find lots of celica enthusiasts that will help with your quest for parts.

If you want to join a club of guys into Toyotas in Melbourne, try the Toyota Car Club - www.tccav.org.au

the GT is a 75 model - though its really an LT that has been given a good work over. the guy who built it is a fanatic and does some amazing work.
