Very nice and original, I hope you keep it that way. The Rx4 coupe is one of my favourite Mazda's, I hope to get one after my Rx3 has been completed.

Is this a car that yourve owned from new or have you recently purchased it ?

Fantastic looking RX-4, I love it! What about the yellow RX-4 visible in the 6th pic in the background, is it a parts car or will it be restored?

Absolutely beautiful! As others have said, I wouldn't change a thing. It's perfection as it is.

Welcome to JNC!

Hi, and thanks for all the positive response. This is a euro-spec RX4. The euro RX4 13B 5speed is very, very rare. I bought this car way back in 1992. Drove it until 1996. Then parked it. The restoration startet in 2006. It was finished 2 weeks ago. I will not change a thing. I will keep it as it is. The yellow car in the background is a 1975 929. It is a parts car. And i really needed that car. After 3 year of restoraton, and 1(!!!) day before completion, an old man backed into the gar and destroyed the bumper/grill and more. That day the world fell apart for me, but we made it.

Congratulations for the great restoration once more.
One question: Where did you find that immaculate dashboard, or it was in that condition before?

And I just noticed the external position of the amber taillights in a LHD car. I was thinking it was JDM and RHD spec.

Thank you for the fine words. In Norway, all the yellow cars (929) came with all black vinyl interior. The black dashboard do not crack that easy. I used the interior from the parts car you can see in the picture. The problem was that no euro-RX4 came with black interior(?), so i had to obtain a black roof console from Australia.

Nice car, where do you live? About 2 hours from Oslo there are an anual classic car meeting. Have you been there before?

5 hours from Oslo i live. The bad thing is, i am almost to afraid to drive the car. If i ever sell the car,i hope Mazda will buy it. As far as i know, this is the only restored pointy nose euro-RX4.

Question: Can LHD and RHD versions swap pedal boxes by bolt-in methods (ie, without messing with the firewall)
