Wooow, That brown ST is a extremly nice car :D :D !

Did't know that these came as an ST-model. Have seen a lot of 2d and 4d saloons here in Norway late 70's and early 80's, but never a HT.
Maybe there also where a GT -modell with the 2T-G?

yes, GT came with both 2T-G and 18R-G. Engine variations in *A1* HT models were: T, 2T, 2T-B, 2T-G, 18R, 18R-E and 18R-G. *A3* series HT, which were with longer wheelbase (like TA14 sedan) had also 3T and several antipollution engines.

There are also ST, SR and GT models from 2D and 4D sedans and with 1600 and 2000cc models. But sedans didn´t have 18R-G, only 18R and 18R-E and 19R lean mixture 12-valve engine. Yes, I know it sounds unbelievable :)

thanks, it sits quite nicely there and it sure is fun to drive. engine is very nice, quite good torque and power range(as good as it can be in 2 liter natural aspirated). vvt-i really works great.

HaHa... you just gotta love the Swedes...

Your brown hardtop looks absolutely stunning!!
Meticilously presented.
I'm very jealous... :D
Great design and I love the colour - so retro...
