I swear a couple years back I saw a car with some Enkei's that were pretty much SSR MK-I type knock-offs. Does anyone have pictures of these or a model name? Thanks... been searching hi and low and no luck!

Are you sure they weren't a solid face Centerline knockoff? I seen an auction for those kinda Enkeis a few weeks back, they sold for cheap, too. :?

Centerline Solid Face and the SSR MK-I are pretty much the same thing aside from the 1 pc. vs. 3 pc. deal... but that's the style I'm looking for. :|

The SSRs look flatter in face than the Centerlines for some reason. The Enkeis and the Centerlines are virtually identical.

Yea, those are the ones I saw. They went for $100 plus shipping from AZ. 8)

You wouldn't have happened to get a model name did you? What size/width were they?

Not sure on the model name, but they were 14x7 rims.

Now that I think of it, 2 were real Enkeis and the other 2 were knockoffs.

Your best bet is to try and find an Enkei 80's catalog scan, that shows the rims you want. lol

Ultra wheel still makes a 4x114.3 centerline knock off that looks identical to the enkei solid mags, super cheap too. I think the only 4lug size they make though is 14x7 -9, or you can buy the real deal centerline for $300+ a wheel. Some of those old enkei wheels were actually 2 peice, kind of neat, we get some in our shop every once in while on customer's cars. Enkei also had a panasport style wheel that was a 2 peice. There's a lady that comes in that has them on an old volvo :D.

thanx man. where you saying they where 15 inch rims or they are called enkei 15's like the enkei 92's becacuse they are 14 inch rims :tu: a guy at club4ag said they look like enkei ap-9 rims. if you go to the middle of this page they look exactly like mine just wider. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http://www.86life.com/w_abnomal.htm&rurl=translate.google.com

I meant the style of the wheel not the size. They are also known as AP7's, If you go to nengun.com, go to the auctions and choose enkei, you will all sorts of enkei rims, new and old. hope this helps.
