Painted the wheels today, and put the fake rivets back in. I kinda like them silver more then black, only downside is they look bigger for some reason.

What do you think?

they look good both color ways but for some reason the black looked gangstah!!

you're car is the reason why i pulled the trigger last week and picked up a 85 cressida. i was on the fence on picking up a cressida. but after seeing your thread.. that did it for me and the rest is history.. im about to cut some springs. cant stand my 4x4 stance.

Wow! Thanks the for the compliment! I've wanted one of these since I was in high school, but for some reason I never bought one. This one just kind of dropped into my lap at just the right time. You wont regret it, this really is the best car I've ever owned.

Looking good, as always, bro.

I am also so glad I picked up my Cressida, the owner said if I didn't.. he was gonna just junk it. Well, I couldn't let a JNC just go to the greedy scrap men or the metal mongers of China, so you know the rest. Like you said, shane.. I smile everytime I see her. I am so pleased with her I don't regret my purchase. The funny part is I was already in talks to go buy an AE86 with baby Supra rims from some kid. I think for now, my Cressy is my main drift car, since the 240 is relaxing. LOL :)

Matter of fact, I am so pleased with the smoothness and power of the straight 6, 5MGE, I don't regret not buying the AE86 4 banger. Hahaa 8)

rexone!! Car is sick, no reason to take the pic down!

Definately needs to drop a bit, but sounds like you are already planning on it, love the wheels too! I'm running a 185 50 16 toyo tire and my wheels are 16x8 +10. I'd like a lower offset, but I can live with this :D.

It doesnt ride too great because the front is sitting on what is left of the bump stop, the rear I took the bump stop out completely and it doesnt give me any trouble ridewise. My springs aren't just cut though, I am running mkII supra lowering springs... that are cut, lol. But they ride alot better then just cut stockers.

I am planning on getting mr2 struts (which are about 20mm shorter) in the front with coilovers, so It'll give me a bit of suspension travel in the front, plus I will be running 8k tein springs up there so it should stiffen it up a bit too. The rear springs will still be these mkII springs, rated @ 550lb, but with 2 coils cut I am thinking they are morel like 650lb. So should have a good suspension once I get the money for the shorter struts.

^ haha. My wife strongly disagrees with you :D.

Not much more planned for this honestly. Only things I'd still like to do to it are a better suspension, which is already in the works, and get the seats re-upholstered/replaced, depending on how things work out. I wouldnt mind getting a nice chin spoiler either, but you know how that is. I'm going to need a new exhaust soon too. I like the look of the factory can personally, but riding this low has done a number on the factory exhaust.

I have a set of tein s13 coilovers with blown struts for the front with 8k springs. Going to pull the sleeves and springs off those and weld them to the strut housings for this thing. The front strut housings will also be shortened about 20mm to take rear sw20 struts. Should give me a stiffer/better suspension in the front, and give me some more suspension travel also. Rear is just going to get some stiffer shocks or adjustable. The springs I have in the back are already beefy, so no worries back there yet :D.
