It has the same steering wheel as my 1965 Daihatsu.

S54 Prince Skyline 2000GT. I'm guessing it may be a GT-A or GT-B rather than just a plain ol' GT, as it has no over riders on the bumpers. I remember seeing some pics of that one a few years ago... what happened to it?

It's been on ebay at least twice and was even mentioned in a magazine a while back, can't remember which - Sport Compact Car, maybe? They said the trim level but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. It's probably the only one in America... I'd also like to know what happened to it!

What was the symbol for prince???

I could well have had one squashed up on my truck today. I got a hub cap. A bit rusty but still sound enough and straight as a die.

It was a stylised P with an arrow through it.

like this:

Post a few photos and we'll soon be able to tell you if its a Prince or not.

Thanks for the link.

Looks sort of right, will see if i can get a pic of the hubcap up a bit later tonight.

The badge in the mangled grille ran vertical if i remember right.

The thing was as rusty as and like i said a foot high, makes it hard to pick body lines.

From what i could see, it had 5 stud wheels. Drums all round. Double A arm suspension on the front.

The motor looked like a L series 6cyl datsun. Similar to the motor in the link with the bump at the front for the SOHC drive gear but it had the ribs along the rocker cover like a L26 or L28.

I guess you dont have any photos of the car then.

Hmm. never seen a hubcap like that before, but I'm no Prince expert. Maybe someone else might be able to tell you what it is.

Your wheel cover is from a Nissan (Datsun) Cedric, likely a model 130, third generation from the late sixties. The badge in the middle is the sixties version of the 'Cedric'. These were mostly had with the L series six, unlike the early 30 series that had a similar wheel cover, but they were almost all fours.

We had in our family a early model 130 with an L six.

For a bit there i was thinking it was an early crown, but i was pretty sure about the nissan lookin L series motor.

Looking at that pic i can see that its the car.
