Spotted this nice Datsun truck while riding my bike through some local neighborhoods...

One left to its fate Mazda 1000

Toyota pickup. There a few of these driving around but none of the owners is willing to part with their car. These cars apparently are worth their weight in (emotional) gold so to speak. Perfectly understandable, with ease of maintenance, low fuel consumption and all that space in the back.

Two Celicas, I really want to go and ask for that unmolested looking yellow one but at the moment it's 'no money, no honey' for me. The blue one is parked at a central spot, up for sale but the paintjob looks kinda dodgy to me.

Here's an old Z near a local college. The writing on the windshield is not a for sale ad. It's a message about an upcoming play at the campus. I love the four lug version of the General Lee's Vector rims.

Here's a 510 Datsun wagon that's been holding it's ground since the 1970s.

Next town over from me, and in in elderly housing complex. Appears to be all original right down to the 'Unleaded Fuel Only' sticker on the fuel door. Left a note on the window, would love to talk to the owner! Very, VERY rare car in the northeast!

wow must be pretty are up there. i love first gen cressys but unfortunately not smog exempt in cali =( also i dont like that color it was the blue my celica used to be.

Unfortunatly that is the case with a lot of old cars here in the north east. Just got to get use to it

Yep the same goes here. They all rust and rot away. I had to get rid of my 85 Supra years ago because of rust and frame rot. !90 K oon it and it ran great. Hated to part with it but it wasnt safe to drive anymore. My Datsun spent 23 out of 27 years in Arizona so its in pretty solid shape. Just had 4 years in Michigan. Then i bought it and brought to Illinois. It spent November till end of March in the garage on jackstands.
