But none of them are factory 4G63 powered, IRS and four wheel vented disc brakes though :P

And hello and welcome Mikael.

I have the same car, except mine is the two door coupe instead of four door sedan.

You will find alot of Starion parts are interchangable/compatable, like most suspension and driveline components.

Fit a front mount intercooler, a larger downpipe and a 2.5-3" exhaust and you'll find it will really be flying!

Thank you, it's nice to give me advice, I do not really know how to improve the car in France because no one know this car.

I thought put a dump valve and turbo timer, but also a management program and an intercooler.

Against but I do not know what brands and models install, if you could help me!

For the exhaust, I must be customized or you can buy for this car? (Stainless steel or titanium!)

Its hard to say what advice to give when were not really sure how the aftermarket scene is in France, but in general you should be able to get a few things done.

Intercooler - measure up a size you can fit and have a look on ebay. Theres plenty of Hybrid-copy intercoolers on there, and atleast in Australia, they are fairly cheap.

Intercooler piping will have to be custom, but any exhaust shop can fabricate that for you. Shouldnt be expensive nor difficult. Hell, if you have a welder go get some pipe and give it a shot yourself.

I didnt understand if you said you had an aftermarket ecu/mangement program, or plan on getting one? Definately look at doin that, i cant really give you too much advice there but some of the mitsubishi guys should be able to.

Exhaust will have to be custom made, but its not expensive so dont freak out. Stainless steel is expensive, titanium is just plain ridiculous in cost. Do you get heaps of snow where you live? If you dont, just get a mild steel 2.5" or 3" mandrel bend exhaust made up.

Not entirely true! There are a few examples floating around in Oz and they were badged the Colt Galant 2000. They were private imports and are identical to GJ/GK Sigmas but came with all the Jap trimmings including the single point injected Sirius 2 litre motor :).

Ok thanks ^^

But what is the power that I can achieve with the original engine components while remaining reliable?

My medium target is 220 hp

220 shoudl be easy to do reliably with a intercooler.

In the shed I have the 1.8 litre version of your motor - the 4G62B. It made 165 kilowatts at the flywheel ( 220 hp ) but it did have a bit of work done. Here's a quick run down :

Decompressed head - 7.5:1 compression
Mitsubishi L300 van injection manifold
Haltech E6GM computer
Garrett T25 turbo from an R33 Skyline ( non roller bearing )
Supra Intercooler
Cheap Bosch blow off valve
adjustable boost running 15psi.
3 inch mandrel bent exhaust from the turbo straight back to the muffler.

I reckon there was more power in her but it's been sitting in the shed for a few years now. If anyone in Australia wants to buy the lot, I'd be happy to part with it all :). If not, one day soon I will hopefully find another donor car to put it all back into.
