Do your self a favor, clean and paint that subframe before install! Coming along nicely, should be on the road in no time!

i did paint it before install at least the top the bottom i can do any time

been a long day but the rear suspension is done :Dpics of the progress

first i pressure washed the entire underside then covered the areas under the rear suspension in bed liner followed by rubber undercoat

my car is a 610 the picture you posted was a 710 though i like that grille if i had a 710 i would be all over it

ive been lagging on the updating of this :? but here is the progress
got some stuff done last weekend swapped the fuel tanks and run some 5/16ths fuel line replacing the stock stuff i also cleaned out the trunk and bed lined it

lines all bent

pulled the back seats out of shelly to get to the tank mounts there still salvageable :D

and today i got a new motor mount and trans mount put in got the driveline bolted up and fixed the small leak in the radiator caused by the accedent now i dont need to buy another one :D

today i got some wheels for a hell of a deal :D ther 14x5.5 american racing wheels acording to the stamps on the back this is how i got them lots of dirt and oxidation

ofter a couple hours hot soapy water a brass wire brush some wire wheel action and a little paint

they need to be polished still but that can come later i got tired after 4 hours of working on one rim

today was one of thouse "well while im at it...." kind of days started with me wanting to tighten up the front end and was going to shelly for 1 nut and a cotter pin and i figured well while im at it ill swap the brakes pulled the brakes off and found the spindles are different so i thought well while im at it ill swap the whole strut :D pics

taking one nut turned into this :eek:

thats what im doing ill eventually convert it to the 280zx strut but for now the later model struts will work :D

got some work done on the car today pulled the sway bar out of the yellow one and got most of the left strut disasembled

drummingpariah: they did clean up rather nicly i still got 3 to do though :P and it is almost roadworthy :D

progress yesterday i took the sway bar and brakets to a wire wheel and shot them with paint

today i bought new energy suspention polyurithane swaybar end link bushings and got the sway bar installed

also finishe all the brake plumbing all thats left is a new soft line on the drivers side and swap the strut and suspention is DONE :D

progress has been made i got the brake booster cleaned up and painted

then i choped a 1.5 coils out of the back springs then my dad decided to give me his old slot mags :D tha backs are 14x8s the fronts are 14x6 i got my good rubber mounted on the back wheels and this is what the back end of my car now looks like im very pleased with the results these rims and this drop give the car the exact look i was going for
