Love the 610. I had 2 73 hardtops at one time. One was a very early model. The emblems on the rear quarters said Datsun 1800 and the other said 610. I always regret getting rid of that early 610. It was yellow with slotted mags and a BRE spook on the front.
Good luck with your resto.

Don't think I have any pictures. That was some 30 years ago.
I did the engine up with a very lumpy cam, peanut head and SU's.
Everybody always thought it was Celica.
By the way I love that car in avatar. Looks like the car I saw race at Watkins Glen a few years ago. Very fast. Going head to head with a Bob Sharp Z and beating it.

Okay, then go outside, put 2-3 layers of masking tape on the trim (so you don't scratch it), and use that old school church key to slowly pry up on the trim and it should pop right off. I sometimes wrap tape around the tool as well.

Start at one end and slowly work it until it pops free. :tu:

Re-install is fairly easy to, just hook the top edge of the trim on the body lip and slowly work it down with the palm of your hand, VERY carefully.

This is going to the "Dear John" section :D

Sorry for the threadjack. Carry on.
