Do we have the same fucking sideskirts too slyda180? This is nutty. I'm the only person I know who thought to run vw sideskirts, but it looks like you are too... you suck...

Axis Widetrack, 18x8 and 18x9 +20 with 215 40 18 tires front and rear. I am told they dont make them in 4x114.3 anymore though.

NO doubt, shane..... they always say you have a twin somewhere else in the world. LOL Mine are actually BMW M3 type skirts, got em off Ebay, had em on another car, junked the car, but the skirts looked right on the 240, so kept those bad boys.. just gotta mold them in when I do the resto. lol

Too bad... Some 17x8 4x114.3 in those would be exactly what I need... :P

You can get an 18x8 in a 4x100, though... Just don't know if I want to go 18"...

Axis also has a hayashi style wheel available in 17x8 17x9 +15. I'm pretty sure they still make them in 4x114.3 also. They also make it in 15x8 +0

All I did with my sideskirts (which are m3 style fiberglass skirts for the mkIII gti) was cut an inch off the end, and make a new end cap with fiber glass. Took about 45min. Dont mold them!!! Please dont mold them, lol.

Yeah, they still have them. I have thought about it, just don't really want replicas on this particular car...

The 15x8 would be sweet on my 1200 though... 8)

Try takumiproject.com, they can get real hayashi's and have a huge selection of size and offset. Check it out! (Hayashi's are spendy as FARK though...)

Actually, I didn't want to really mold em, since the "rivets showing" is actually starting to grow on me.. kinda the "backyard weekend drift car look". Now, all I need is the one primered fender, the mismatched wheels, and the Dori hand sign sticker. << Yeah right, LOL

Did you ever hear from them? I'm interested to see what they quoted you. Hayashi's are pretty much my dream wheels for this car. I'll prolly just puss out and keep with the meshi's in the end anyway, lol.

They said no dice on the Hayashis. They will however gladly sell me a set of 15x8 Watanabes for $1800, though...

The problem is that they just don't have anything in stock.

Everything is special order from Japan, minimum 6-8 week wait, and the price is higher ($2000+).

hmmm. I figured on the $2000+ price tag. Oh well, too much for me. I'll have to keep my eyes fixed on rbwheels.com for the rare chance that a set will show up :(.
