I'm Chris
I have a 1977 Toyota Celica, I have a few modifications done to it.
It's my summer DD and it gets 30mpg.... oh and it runs 12's on tiny tires :)
Words mean nothing and pics are everything so...

Here is a small run on my way to work one day

Thanks!

I am going for some more weight reduction this year since I have a full interior, also going for a lil better looks!
Should be able to cut about 80lbs by using these fiberglass smiley bumpers! On the way to my house now :)

Problem is.... I'll need to find a new way to hide the intercooler

I could do something like this...

12.9 at 110mph on 195-70-r14 horrible tires

should run some low 12's with more traction, has the trap speed for it.

That is by far the BEST solution to intercooler hiding I've ever seen!

Awesome car man, can't wait to see the rest of the weight reduction plans :tu:

That thing is real nice!! I hope to get to that point with mine in the next year... how poor is the traction with all that power??

It's not too horrible, at the track it still ran 12's with no burnout on fully inflated street tires.
But if you get too agressive with the clutch or if you powershift any gear it is just all over the place.
Sometimes just rolling onto the throttle from 40 mph in second gear will get me a lot of spin, but sometimes it just grabs and goes too.

if the roads are even a slight bit moist(even slightly) ya better watch out though... i found out the hard way.... on the freeway going about 90 mph I rolled onto the throttle slowly, and once I was at WOT at about 100 it just suddenly let loose and it got scary real quick

One of the cleanest swaps I have seen - The intercooler looks OEM.
