can you tell me what type is charmant diff? is it T series toyota diff, just like the ae86? and what about the diff mount, is it similar to ae86?

Its not a t series diff, but a t series axle will fit the car no problem, The diff in the car id the same as the 6inch diff from a ke70/kp61 I think....

I love that car men awesome charmant Did any one know of a special charmant to tone color it was red on top and brown under the door strip on the car and had a brown interior. My grandpa had it sold it in 95
never saw a charmant like that every again!:cry:

A T-series diff wont fit the standard axle, You need a full t-series axle or a rare trd 6" diff, they can be had, but are expensive, I welded my standard diff,

Just want to update some small things for the people who still care,

Got some bits and pieces for the car,

Pass racing 6061 aluminium tierod ends, solid alu but uber light!







They tidy the whole lot up too so thats cool,

Gonna get t3 castor arms soon from Derek and all Ill have left then is adj. lcas.... Its taking ages coz this stuff is expensive and I dont earn loads but it will be worth it! Gonna get sptech lcas, saw them already and they are sweet. Really light and rosejointed everything!

hi there mouwt.. i saw those Charmant manuals on ebay. does it have the manual for the 4A-C engine version? i saw from your pics, the manuals are for 4K and 2T engine only. if it does, i'll order them from ebay also.

anyway, i need some wiring diagram.. can you help me out here? i am working out the dashboard wiring, especially for the fuel level because i am making a low fuel warning light circuit. i need to know how the wiring goes. it would be great if you can send it to my email edgaraja@yahoo.com

do you have any info on the fuel level sender unit in the tank? what's the ohm on empty and full position?

Adding all the time,

Made two brackets for the oil cooler,
Drilled holes to match on the inner bumper, its thick enought steel so only needed two brackets underneath, its nice and sturdy, and can be taken off and put behind the bumper in no time if I want,

Also got the oil filter relocator finally mounted and sorted, found a place that did a monster O-ring to fit it for 1 euro!
Sorted my waterlines too, was handy to have a cam beside me to compare,
Tidied up some of the wiring too in preparation for finishing it, looks a bit neater,

You shouldn't put those on there, just send them to me...

So this finally fired up!!! Flooded to the gills but fired up nonetheless!!
The oil POURING out is just a leaking oilcooler line no big deal....
