Everybody knows things are tight right now, but I've managed to save about 500 bucks I can spend on the car. There are a few things that it needs and lots of things that I want, but I just can't decide. Anyway what do you guys think?

sorry, I thought it showed up in my signature.. its a 76 280z. Its in pretty good shape I'd say.. It runs great, I swapped in a 5 speed from a ZX, and did a full urathan suspension kit front and rear with a billet diff mount and solid steering coupler. The wheels are from a later turbo Z but they don't nearly fill the wheel flares up. picture ZG flares but molded on.. It has a MSA type III front air dam and the rear bumper removed.. Interior wise its a little rough with no carpet, ripped seat covers, and a badly cracked dash.. I did put a grant steering wheel on (painted to match the wheels) and brass shifter bushings to tighten the shifter up.. there is a post here on JNC with pics of the car.. viewtopic.php?t=3162

I voted for megasquirt because you can still use if you upgrade to a turbo or itb's in the future. But you could also do the carpet and dash cap and have money left over. If you're gonna go turbo, a header is a waste of money. You know you want new wheels, don't waste $$ on spacers for the ones you're going to be replacing anyway. The braces are nice..can't go wrong there.

You want to get the Rota RB-R wheels in either a 16x8 or 17x9 depending on how big your flares are. I just ordered a set in 16x8 +10 offset for my '75 280Z and they were $600 shipped from 18racing.com. Here's a pictures of somebody's car with the wheels I'm getting in Hyperblack:

Interior... who needs it, Wheels... how long have you been sporting the swashies with no problems, Suspension... I have driven the car, it handles like a dream, I say MK1 all the way. Will keep you from running so fat and line you up for bigger and better later on and you have been talking about it forever and it will keep you busy for atleast a month. (I know huge run on sentence) Everything else you listed you will just put it on and then be bored again. This atleast lets you save up for another addon while your still busy tuning and tweaking. Besides the sooner you buy that and figure out all the quirks of putting it together the sooner you can hook the Rex up.

Its was really down to that or the wheels but I can't make up my mind. As for the Rota RB's I do really like those and some guys on hybridz.org did a group buy recently of a staggered set 17x7 and 17x9.5 i think but i could be wrong.. anyway if they have a set of 15's with a negative offset and huge lip that would be cool
by the way... is the picture of the car not showing up in the post? it shows up everytime I sign in, but maybe its just me. Again thanks everybody.

oh...and jimbob_racing.. the red Z with the RB engine is what I dream of at night seriously, sick car.
