I vaguely recall (the whole electrical saga is one thing I'm trying to erase from my memory!) that the indicator can be removed from the column quite easily, you can lift out this whole ring that contains the switch mechanism to clean it.

I pulled mine out to test it, might be worth doin in your case? Also...for some reason, I don't know why, I think the indicators somehow ground via the horn relay in the engine bay. I recall I cleaned up the ground there and it started to work.

The cam in my car's .505 lift but 302 adv, and I think it's perfectly streetable. It doesn't like sitting in traffic for long periods, but the powerband is quite torquey and it isn't very grumpy at all. I think your cam should be fine.

So the GTR filler neck doesn't fit the 45L GTX tank? I guess that makes sense, the filler caps seem to be different for the GTR.

$300!!

I got my oil pump from www.thezstore.com for $75, and their chain kit is not that expensive either.

Very nice Eric! :tu:

The pic showing the steering wheel centres also shows a modified KPGC10 rear badge. I've seen these before and have always been curious about the character that replaces the R.
Anybody know what it means??

My guess is the clutch is hitting the bellhousing. Seen this many times with aftermarket clutches. Just had to help a friend fix this problem a month or so ago.

Any marks inside the bellhousing? Are there small balancing weights welded to the clutch? This is what was hitting on his.

Anybody installed a kameari timing set before? I have everything in place except the lower rolling gear. I am using a new chain and feel like it is too tight. I do not want to try and force it but loosing patience.

Is that kink in the chain near the crank gear just slack?

The only thing I can think of is the idlers aren't all the way to their slackest point. Meaning some tension is still being put on the chain. I can't imagine different chains would differ enough to matter. :?
