Hi , I thought you might like to see some pics of my lancer . Engine spec : 8 valve bottom end,16v evo head fully lightened & balanced, starion flywheel with uprated cosworth clutch, forged pistons, mulit layered steel head gasket, gas flowed head , evo 6 turbo & manifold, home made 3inch down pipe and exhaust, intercooled & charge cooled, hoping to run 2 bar of boost (around 380bhp)when fully run in.

Nice conversion. :tu:

How is the EX Turbo gearbox handling the extra torque?

BTW any ideas on how to reduce power oversteer to improve handling?

Hi,
The gearbox is from a starion and is handing the extra power
ok at the mo, got a friend who is running almost 600bhp
in a lancer with a starion box and still going ok after 2 years
and loads off trackdays.
Still working on the rear at the mo wil post pics when it is
up and running

VERY nice. Can you give us some details about what you used to make them?

Hi, i used the struts from my lancer, also a weld on kit like the one
in the picture. It fits on a lancer strut very nice you then need 2.5in(65mm) coilover springs i used 8in 200lb with 4in 45lb helpers so
i could set the ride height the way i like it.

Bump ,Hey What Brand Kit you used , what Part number , I measured the diameter of my Struts and got 54mm (2.1 inches) , so Im curious as to if you can order a 2'' Sleeve kit or a 2.5 one and make some sort of inner sleeve to make up for the .4 inches. Please help

Hi, the diameter for lancer 2000ex struts are 65mm(2.5ins)
so the 2.5 kit fits, but you can buy a 2.1 kit also.

Hope this helps.
