The cop car looks like a S40 Crown to me... the small car in the shot with the one-armed man looks like a Daihatsu Fellow Max. Funny name, huh? :)

I don't know if this was mentioned already or not, but in Karate Kid (I think it was KK2), it was the one where he went to Japan.

Anyway, the love interest in that movie drove an S800 roadster with a hardtop.
