Hello everyone.

I need help in deciding what paint would look the best on my MarkII.
I would like to keep as close to oldschool Japanese car color as possible.

I have 2 colors in mind, Maybe I am not not looking at all the choices.

1. Pontiac G8 orange
2. Original MarkII green

I really want to stay away from Silvers, Black,Dark Blues.

Definitely keep the green. My reasons:

1. It's the original color. It will preserve the value and originality of a rare car.
2. There are too many orange cars out there. TE27s, Celicas, Zs, 510s.... I love orange, but we need some variety in the magazine :)
3. That green is already a bad-ass old school color!

I love that green. If you really want to trick it up, maybe add a gold pearl to the green? 8)

Good because I like the green color as well and was thinking of maybe making it a little deeper that stands out a little better.

I value your opinion and will keep it green :D

Originality means nothing if the car is going to be modified.

Id personally go the baby/pastel blue off the Datsuns. Would be something different.

I like the baby/pastel blue colors from Datsuns but I think this car is way too big for that color. I think that color would suit a smaller car like TE27 or TE37.

It looks like Green is where its at right now.

It depends on the mods... if they're reversible, then definitely stick with green.

Do I flare out the fenders and rarewheel arches?

I am thinking about leaving them alone.

IMO, the only flares that work are bolt-on flares. Is that what you meant?

Darker green perhaps?

Actually, I think a bright light blue like Toyota Reef mica metallic, or Mitsubishi pacific blue pearl would be awesome.

With GSS grille. :P

What wheels are you planning?

datsunfreak, I was talking about the non-bolt on flares but I think that will ruin the shape of the car. OEM is the way to go...

I love that grill but I think I'll stick to Metalic Green :D
Do you guys think bolt-on flares with look good or should I just leave the well enough alone?

Can anyone help me with bidding on this item?
