:tu: I'm glad that the event is growing, but I'm sorry I couldn't make it. In fact I think the 7pm on a sunday night window is going to be tough for me to make in general. Especially with the 100 mile roundtrip drive that I need to do to make the event.

I suggest moving this event to Satruday night if keeping the later time is important, or simply bump this up to 12:00 noon on a Sunday. I mentioned to Datsunfreak that there were several Starion owners who wanted to make this meet but declined due to the late time and day. Some of them would be driving from Austin, so an earlier meet up time would be pretty significant.

But otherwise, Nice photos and nice cars! Sad I could not attend

When I get my Supra back together I'll swing down for one of these. It's a bit of a drive for coming down without a JNC.

My friend Joaquin is bringing his TE72 next time and it's 230 mile round trip for him.

Well, the real problem is that it's 107 degrees outside at noon.

For those of us with no A/C (every car you see there), that's a lot to ask.

Saturday is also a tough sell to the wife for most of us. On most Sunday nights, everyone I know is doing nothing but kicking back on the couch, so...

We are open to suggestions and if a majority want it moved, we may move it. But for now, it's staying at this time/day.

It belongs to Gary, a friend of DF. Not sure if he's on JNC.

Gary is fairly new to the classic import crowd. He seems to be really getting into his wagon. I don't think he is on here, he is somewhat older and I think less than computer savy.

He used to have a '71 510, I've just recently got him into modifying them, not just keeping them stock.

I would love if the meet was moved to saturday. I would be able to attend every now and then when ever I have some cash to spare as it would be a 400 mile drive round trip for me! However I would only attend maybe 2-4 times a year.

Well like DF said, most ever seems to be able to work with the sunday meet as it is now. Sunday night is the one night were most of us don't have something going on and we can get out from the family. We already have several new guys that say they are going to show up next month.

Who knows, if the membership really starts to climb, maybe we can have some kind of full on classic show/rally event that everyone can come too.

Well Arlington maybe, but I wouldn't think anymore east of cooper or collins. Grand Prairie is not very central in my opinion. I would still like to see more attendence from other places before we consider moving it.
