Are you saying that the Seller claims the springs fit either KE70 or AE70? If so you should be fine.

I believe the ae70s come with rack and pinion steering. Springs /struts should be the same if you are talking aftermarket.

Yes. They will fit. Most of your Toyota struts were 51mm, especially on the same chassis code a7x, the big difference is engine, and body (coupe, liftback, more door). Underpinnings usually stayed the same, I know on later Corollas like the hachi, and on my second gen Celica, they did.

from memory(may be faulty)... they may not.... the strut mounts changed in mid production, 1980, and 81 models have a slightly different upper strut mount than the 1982-83 - this I know for sure. What I'm uncertain about is I seem to remember one of the spring seats on the struts changed a little too... this would mean the earlier springs don't fit the later models.... but this I'm uncertain about....

From Toyodiy....

48131 SPRING, FRONT COIL, RH
48131-12710 (08/1979 - 07/1981) 1 $132.60
48131-1A120 (08/1981 - 07/1982) 1 $125.59

48132 SPRING, FRONT COIL, LH
48131-12730 (08/1979 - 07/1981) 1 $145.24
48131-1A130 (08/1981 - 07/1982) 1 $126.12
