It never ceases to amaze me just how good wing mirrors look on just about any classic Jap! :D
It's funny, cause the same mirrors on something like a Golf I or a early Escort would simply strange...

Haha, it's true! However, in a way a lot of the older car models look a like. People who didn't know it confused it at first with a 1980's Ford Fiesta. Fender mirrors would look terrible on a Fiesta  .

The weather is pretty bad right now. Lots of salt on the roads because of frost so she stays in... I can't wait for a sunny day though!
Feels strange this car seems almost done. I'm hungry for another project :( .

Thanks for the kind words  .

The rims arrived from Japan but I've ordered a set of center caps too. Hope to see them arrive in a week or 2 :tu: .
It doesn't see the road often these days, still waiting for spring!

Found some cool driving gloves though

Soooo... you painted the centre caps yellow to ensure they matched the walls where you park your Starlet...?? :?
Explain please...??

Seriously though, she looks absolutely stunning! :tu:
While I personally wouldn't want to overdo it, I would now want to lower her just a bit. Maybe 30 - 40 mm but no more than that, as you still want to be able to drive her. And somehow this little Starlet is just screaming to be left mostly stock...
But other than a moderate lowering, I'd leave her exactly as is and just enjoy. She looks great...

We felt that because of the yellow lights the yellow center caps would look awesome and i.m.o. they do  .
Everyone has the red ones and we wanted to do something else that fits the car.

We really don't want to overdo it and this is pretty much everything we are going to do to the car except for mechanical updates. We won't lower it because it drives like a dream at this hight. Very comfy  :tu: .

Everyone says we should lower it but I think to many people to this. I love the car the way it is  .
Thanks for the nice words!

Honestly I quite agree with you!
It's actually very refreshing seeing a clean and well-kept JNC that is NOT smashed to the ground. She looks great, and no doubt adds the benefit of being tons more comfy and driveable than all those slammed Starlets.
Glad you're not modding the heck out of this one - just keep me in mind when it comes time to sell her...

Next plan is doing a full fluids renewal. Engine-, trans- and diffoil change. Change the coolant and flush the engine and fuellines. Just to keep it healthy and ready for summer  .

Actually a lot of people have asked me to notify them if we would sell it and I consider that a very big compliment. If we ever do I'll let you know

Thx mate! :D
It would be neat if I could add a bit of JNCness to my classic BMW collection I keep back home in Denmark...
