HaHa... the owner showed up and was standing next to me as I took that pic of the interior...
Should have perhaps tried to divert his attention and make a superfast getaway!! :P

On some of my recent Sunday Morning Drives I've come across some pretty cool J-tin too - even if it's a bit more modern than what I'm usually into...

This Vtec was just megaclean!!! 8)

And you've just gotta love the style of this little JDM Starlet Turbo. :P

Image

Not too shabby either...

Great looking Cressida MX73.

Alright, this should count! Last year at our annual car show there was a Toyota Sports 800. Only year it showed up, and it was for sale too. Can't remember the asking price, though.

Not my pictures, I'll try and get my picture of the front

Hmmmm... and I guess technically speaking these next pics might not belong under Sightings as I saw the cars at a classic car show...?? :? But don't know where else to post them and just want to share the love...

Nice couple... :D

Image

I especially liked this rare RA63 Celica 2.0GT.

Image

Image

Evil looking EF9 Civic...

Image

Image

Though you could argue that this early 90's Nissan-based Mitsuoka Le-Seyde is perhaps slightly OTT...

And this awesome JDM Carina 2.0 GT Dohc is quite often parked in the basement at my work place.
Sadly though, I haven't managed to find out who the owner is...

Sorry for the poor picture quality on this one! It really doesn't do this RX-7 any justice, because it was nothing short of MINT...!!
And when did you last see a SA22 still sporting it's original steel wheels??

Went for another Sunday Morning Drive recently and a friend showed up in his absolutely mint and utterly original low-mileage CRX Si-R. Only the rare Mugen alloys divert from how it would have been delivered as new.

Image

Image

Time for a group photo shoot...

Image

And heading home again I spotted this Sera waiting outside a back-street garage in Sai Kung.

Spottet this old beast parked up a small side road the other day.

Image

On closer inspection I found its cousin sitting a bit further down the same car park. It looked like this one was possibly a parts car, though the body seemed in quite good condition...

I love the pictures Anders! There's some seriously cool stuff rolling around in Hong Kong, haha.

Glad you're enjoying the pics... :D
In all honesty classics of any kind are rarely seen on the streets in Hong Kong. I'm probably just overly keen and try hard to go all the right places to spot them and always grab a couple of pics when I do...

Well, nothing new spotted in here in Hong Kong recently, so instead I've uploaded a few pics of various JNC I spotted during a 7 month stay in Adelaide in the first half of 2012...

Image

This one was absolutely stunning condition!! 8)

Image

Nice couple! 626 was clearly a daily but in clean condition - Celica needed some tlc...

Image

Another daily.

Old couple were sitting inside their 'rolla eating ice cream when I snapped this one!
I bet you they were the first owners too...

Image

Image

Not a massive fan of the wheels on this one, but other than that it looked super hot!

I feel absolutely in love with this beauty of an old Datsun 260C...!! She was just stunning! 8)
I came back on several occasions to the barber that she was parked outside. Spoke to the owner, and despite my profound lack of interest in cars with a slushbox, I begged the owner to sell her to me...
Sadly, he wasn't interested.

Time for another dose of random J-tin I've come across...
This time I've uploaded a variety of JNC that I've spottet back home in Denmark.

I keep one of my project BMW's with a cool old man on his farm. He's got well over 100 classic cars stored in he's barns!! With the exception of my one BMW, they're all his own too. The vast majority are the type of cars that were regular family cars that polluted our streets some 25 - 50 years ago, but which are now all but extinct!
Among them are two beautiful Crowns. This one is actually the first new car that he ever bought - and he's still got it!

Image

Image

And you've just got to love this grand old coupe... 8)

The first summer meet in Copenhagen always brings out a lot of cool old classics. These pics are from way back in 2009, but this guy always turns up with his meticulously restored Datsun 410.

Image

This beautiful old Crown was quite stunning too. If memory serves me right it came up for sale shortly after I took this pic. I was skinned at the time, but damn do I now wish I had been able to buy it...

Image

The following year the owner of the immaculate 410 brought along his just as perfect and newly restored Datsun Sunny B10. Sweet couple!! :tu:

Later in 2010 I was attending another classic meet in southern Denmark with one of my BMW 2002's. It was mostly Euro and Yank classics, but did come across a bit of cool JNC. :D

Image

This early KE15 Sprinter was restored to an unbelievable level of perfection!! I remember asking the proud owner if he would sell. He declined.
