Nice!, is it just me or the paint combo/graphics on this thing looks awesome?. 8)

PS:I was cringing through the whole first part of the thread. Cars here with that much rust are usually condemned to a "parts car" fate.

Thanks for the great feedback. It was quite nerve wracking to paint the car in the colors that I painted it, but I'm happy about how it turned out.

About the bumpers: I am of the same opinion and hence I removed them and I sent them to the crusher ... I hope everyone who has cromebumpers follows this example :D

So not much happening the moment, i bought new rims at the end of the summer and a couple of new tail lights. The car is in winter storage at the moment. During the spring I should check an small oil leak I found, otherwise I only wait for better before I start driving this one again. (The temperature is -7.6f or -22c at the moment, so you don’t feel like hitting the garage at the moment or driving this old lady)

Immensly cool little cupe! 8)
Love the styling of these Hardtops and that paintjob is pretty neat.
Kudos to you for seeing this project through to the end...
I'd probably paint those new alloys either black or the same green as the car. It's a great little alloy, but the current shinny finish of them doesn't really gel with the rest of the cars raw attitude imho...

Thank you! The 70:S Jap cupes are cool and beautiful and I must say: you Anders must have one of the coolest one’s ever built.
About the alloys, I’ve played with the idea to paint the center of them red, the idea of painting them green was an new fresh idea, let’s see how this ends :D Thank you for the idea.

Does anybody else have any suggestions about the future color of the alloys?

Thx Kimppen! :D Our two 'rolla based coupés are of course closely related, and both pretty cool imo... 8)

Red centered alloys would definitely work too.
You could also consider painting the edges of the alloys the same light gray as the lower bodywork and then the centres in either green or red...
